I've made two typically different landing pages: picturesque single-page and more common scrolling one. Both concepts are based on mixed schedule of public and private itineraries: museum visits, workshops, professional meet-ups, discussions and unique local stories. The first concept is a single-page landing aimed to schedule local activities for a day. Target audience could consist of travellers who are familiar with the city and local dwellers as participants and at the same time as hosts/guides/event holders.
The first concept is a single-page landing aimed to schedule local activities for a day.
The second concept is a tourist information site, where tours scheduling plays a role in a long prepared journey including overview of hotels, sightseeing highlights and transport information. Target audience here could consist of any kind of travellers.
The second concept allows a tourist to fully prepare for visiting a new city. Here event scheduling is just a part of a big preparation including observation of hotels, highlights and transport information.
